For the first time in many months mortgage rates have dropped! Since early this Monday morning September 8, mortgage loan officers have been contacting me quoting 30 year fixed loans between 5.875% and 6.05%. This is due to the federal government stepping in to take control of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. The bottom line could be the bottom of the housing slowdown (We hope!) If you were waiting for a good selection of homes for sale in Cincinnati and low interest rates. The time is now! You will not know the market has hit the bottom until it has started to move back up.
